1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

Very tidy 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe for sale.

Equipped with the original numbers matching 327ci 300HP engine, Powerglide transmission, power windows, tinted glass, AM/FM radio, and telescopic steering column. It has been used lightly yet regularly over the decades as one of his two Corvettes. Always garaged, maintained and cared for.

In 1988 he had time to get back to work on it, went through the mechanicals and began to enjoy.

The car starts; runs and drives beautifully with no mechanical issues. It has strong oil pressure, plenty of power and starts easily. It has the original Carter AFB 4bbl carburetor.

The Powerglide transmission functions as it should and shifts smoothly. The suspension is nice and tight and the car handles well. It wears a set of original-style bias-ply whitewall tires on its rare spin-off wheels.

The interior still shows well after all the years with a tidy appearance, good carpets, panels, and headliner. All of the gauges are in working order except the clock. The radio was bypassed years ago to facilitate an aftermarket setup in the glovebox.
