1966 Ford Mustang

Cool little 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe for sale; a California car that has been preserved and kept pretty original over its life. Recent repairs and upgrades include a front disc brake conversion and an exhaustive rebuild of the front and rear suspension including new KYB shocks. It has a new valve cover gasket, headlamp, wiper blades and oil change, fuel sender, coil and plugs. In addition, it has a rebuilt carburetor and has been fitted with electronic ignition for added reliability.

The rebuilt engine has about 77k on it but appears to have been well maintained as it runs well with no smoke and plenty of power. The tires have plenty of tread and the car’s handling is tight and responsive.

The car was repainted in its original Vintage Burgundy Metallic several years ago and has a nice shine to it. The body is super straight and rust-free with the exception of some surface anomalies at the lower left rear quarter that appear to be from trapped trunk moisture at some point.

The interior is comfortable and complete. It has the desirable factory center console. Much of the interior appears to have been redone at some point though it appears that the headliner and visors are original. Overall it is very comfortable and tidy.
